SIMMCO’s aim is to provide a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.  The safety and well being of each and every employee is the most important aspect of the safety process.  Every employee must be responsible for their safety and the safety of their fellow employees.

SIMMCO’s Safety Program is a part of the overall injury and illness prevention program of the company.  It is to be used as a means of providing safe work procedures for all employees to follow.  FOLLOWING THESE PROCEDURES IS A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT TO WORK FOR SIMMCO.  Management considers safety records to be of prime importance of line management ability to control job costs.  Management considers employees’ safety records to be an important indicator of overall job performance. 

All employees will be safety observers.  Supervisors are to do proper job analysis and can eliminate unsafe conditions, which will give all employees a work environment that is not only safe but also pleasant to work in.  This program will allow everyone to share their talents and accomplish personal and company goals so that SIMMCO can be an Injury / Incident Free company.
